Kathleen J. Eckert

Kathleen Eckert is a paralegal at the Oldfather Law Firm. She has a bachelor’s degree in law and society from Purdue University, and completed the Lawyers’ Assistant Program at Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. In addition, she completed internships at the Legal Aid Society of Lafayette, IN, and at the Illinois Attorney General’s office. She has 20 years experience in litigation, concentrating in medical malpractice, legal malpractice and personal injury matters.

Kathleen assists the attorneys at the Oldfather Law Firm during all stages of litigation including client and witness interviews, preparation of pleadings and discovery, analysis and summarization of records, research and attending trials.

She and her husband, Paul, have two sons and are active members of St. John Paul II parish, volunteering within the parish and its school. She is a devoted Boilermaker, a dog lover, and enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and watching her sons play soccer.
