Nicole A. Bush

Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University. She went on to work in the mental health field assisting mental health patients with life management skills. She was also on the planning committee for the annual Consumer Recovery Conference.

Nicole moved to Louisville in 2006 and began working for the Jefferson County Attorney’s office. She worked closely with County Attorney’s. She also was a Restructuring Advisor for the Child Support Division and assisted in the Modernization Project.

Nicole realized her passion to help others could be utilized in the legal profession and began attending law school while still working full time for the County Attorney. She was asked to attend the AJL Environmental Law Conference as the Brandeis School of Law Representative. She also did work for the ACLU. Nicole graduated magna cum laude and in the top ten of her class from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2017.

Nicole enjoys travelling, hiking, playing tennis and golf, and spending time with her husband, Sean and their cat, Sugar.
